Good morning friends! April is slipping by fast! We've been busy with life - finishing up school for the boys, soccer practices and games, gym time, yard work, etc! So when the boys go to bed, I've been able to squeeze in some paper time. YAY! This week I decided to play along with the Wide Open Spaces challenge at Paper Issues!
Here's how to play along: For this challenge leave lots of white space on your project. We want you to keep the majority of your background paper naked. So clump your stuff in a corner, spread it along the bottom or side, just don't fill more than 1/3 of your layout.
I chose to fill the top of my layout with these beautiful flowers and leaves from Maggie Holme's Flourish collection. The patterned paper is from Webster's Pages. Then I added my photo and title! It was actually such a fast layout to put together. I guess that happens when you can only use 1/3 of your page!
Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you have an awesome weekend! XOXO

Happy Monday! I'm so excited about this right and cheery layout! It's the perfect way to start to my week. I'm playing along with Paper Issues Notable Quotable challenge. Here's this month's quote:
I was inspired by the bright yellow in the graphic! I used Crate Paper's Here + There collection! The yellow flowers in the Grandiflora patterned paper were screaming to be fussy cut. I cut away and created a diagonal design across my layout. I added the decorative gold leaf trim for some extra sparkle.

Happy Sunday! Today we are lifting Kelly's cutest breakfast layout from the Free File Free-For-All challenge in March. You can find her original layout here! My favorite part is the giant title. I used Crate Paper Here + There to document our recent hike around a local park. My giant title came from the Greatest Adventure cut file. Find it here!
Now it's time to join us. Find us here in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group. We love to chat and have some fun while we scrap! XOXO

Pouring on the layers today with the Layered on Thick challenge at Paper Issues. I love layers on my page so this was a fun and easy challenge to play along with. I used Crate Paper Here + There again! While this collection has a travel theme to it, I've enjoyed using it for several of our everyday adventures! You will too! Save 20% on the collection with the code RACHEL! XOXO
